Tê Tê Beer is one of the top breweries in Vietnam, inspired by the idea of a classic craft beer with a twist of the local culture and climate. Our beer is unfiltered, keeping all the delight inside.
Based in Saigon, and co-founded by two Spanish brothers, a Maltese and an American, Tê Tê started as a personal project of 4 friends who experimented with small batch brews on a makeshift home-brewing system, while crafting a unique brand identity for the product. Five years later, Tê Tê Beer is at the forefront of the beer scene in Vietnam, Tê Tê manages its own production and logistics as well as a magnificent bar in the heart of Saigon. Our beers include more than 6 distinctive flavours, distributing to over 300 venues across the country and export to Singapore and Europe.
The character in our logo is a Tê Tê, Vietnamese word for Pangolin: a very unique scaly mammal. Quirky, gentle and shy, Pangolins live a simple life feeding off ants and have a body covered by scales like an armor.
It also means to feel a bit tipsy or *to have that gentle buzz*, like when you have had a few beers.
Summed up by a Vietnamese idiom “Phê Như Con Tê Tê” which translates to “High like a Pangolin”. Tê Tê Brewing is a tribute to this idiom.
2015
Tê Tê Brewing started out with a single beer style, our well known Tê Tê White Ale.
2016
First venue we sale was the well-known Broma: Not a Bar in District 1. Soon after, we were stocked at BiaCraft in District 2. Today, we have our product all over Vietnam with a focus on Ho Chi Minh City.
2019
By that time, we had grown to over 8 different styles, ranging from porters to IPAs. We opened our first taproom which is a craft beer and tapas concept bar in an alley at 90 Nguyen Van Thu Street.
2021
We rebranded Tê Tê Taphouse with a new concept called Tê Tê & Phê Quán aiming to create a Vietnamese style – relaxed and wonderful dining experience for our guests.
2022
We self-distribute our current product while continue developing the product line. Also open a new Tê Tê & Phê Quán.

Pale Ale barley which gives the beer a malty, medium body flavor with enriched with wheat and oats; a pale and cloudy appearance.
EUROPEAN HOPS
Light touches of European noble hops enhance the beer’s aroma, giving it a crisp, tangy finish.
ORANGE PEEL & SPICES
Late additions of orange peel and coriander seed give the beer fresh, citric top notes.
Tê Tê Electric IPA is a medium body beer with a golden orange haze. The fruity aroma is brought to life by American and Kiwi hops and a pinch of lemon zest.

Pale Ale barley which gives the beer a malty, medium body flavor with a touch of caramel and a golden-orange hazy finish.
AMERICAN AND KIWI HOPS
A complex blend of American & Australian Hops give the beer a zesty, fruity aroma.

Late additions of lemon peel add citric top notes.
Tê Tê Juicy peach ale is a fruity explosion! It's a lighter take on our classic white ale, loaded with peach juice for a sweet, fruity finish and an aroma that reminds one of biting into a ripe, cold peach on a hot summer's day.

Pilsner and pale ale barley give the beer a malty, medium body, enriched with wheat and oats that bring a pale and cloudy appearance.
EUROPEAN HOPS
Light touches of European noble hops enhance the beer’s aroma, giving it a crisp, tangy finish.
PEACH JUice & citrus
Additions of Peach Juice give the beer a fresh peachy aroma, while a dash of citrus gives it a slight tang to balance the sweetness.
A CLASSiC WEST-COAST IPA WITH A PiNEY, hop-forward character, a medium body, and a bright, slightly fruity finish.

Malt
Mashed with pilsner and pale malts that give the beer a crisp and clean malt character which fades into the background and let’s the hops stand out!
AMERICAN AND KIWI HOPS
The original West Coast IPA with piney and resiny hop-forward character from the most common and typical American hop varieties columbus, centennial, cascade.
SPICES
To give the beer a punchy finish, we use a light sprinkling of quality Phu Quoc pepper.
TÊ TÊ'S TAKE ON THE BELGIAN TRAPPIST TRIPEL WITH A RICH, FULL BODIED MOUTHFEEL, SWEET AND SPICY NOTES FROM PEPPER AND CLOVE, AND A FRUITY, LIGHT HOPPY FINISH TO GIVE A TWIST TO THE TRADITION.
